Blogs. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them!

Well that’s some people’s take on it anyway. We see many customers who do have blogs and are not actively using them and some who would like to have a blog but don’t know whether it suits their business or even where to start. Then there’s a third category of businesses who don’t have them or want them and their answer is usually short and sweet “Why do I need one, I’m a business.” Well my question is “How can you be sure”?

The long and the short of it is – Yes, Blogging is good, unless you don’t have anything important to say, then just blogging for the sake of blogging is a real waste of your time and your readers time and could actually create a negative impression of your business.

Keep your blog entries to the point. Writing huge amounts of copy within the blog may turn readers off – if you have more technical information, upload it to your blog so they can read it if they want or link to more info on your site.
