Dear Business Builder,
Here we are at the end of 2012, and what a rollercoaster ride it’s been.
We’ve had gloom and doom from abroad shaking up financial markets, politicians spruiking and slicing some big changes in small business policy, the first signs of a serious shift in our two speed economy, and lots of spot fires and celebrations in between.
And that’s to say nothing of the day to day trials and triumphs of running a small business. Late nights doing the books, wry smiles when things just manage to go right, second, third and fourth coffees to keep going...
But that’s why we do it, right? It might not always be easy or fair or fun every day, but at the end of the year most of us run a small business because we want to.
There’s a certain satisfaction and sense of purpose in running your own show that working in big business doesn’t quite capture.
So whatever 2012 had in store for you, whether it was a breakthrough year or a tough patch for your business, here’s to a bigger, brighter, better 2013.
Thanks for all your terrific support over the year, and we hope that we’ve been of some assistance and entertainment to you too.
Now it’s time for rest and recuperation, so have a safe and relaxing holiday and we look forward to catching up in the New Year.
All the best,
Kochie and the team at KBB
